10 qualities of a winner

The Psychology of Winning
Denis Waitley
The 10 Qualities of a Total Winner
👆☝
Quality 1:  Positive Self-Expectancy
"Life is a self fulfilling prophecy. True winners go into every event expecting to win."
If you don't believe that you can do something then you most likely wont be able to do it. you have to have a positive outlook on things so you can accomplish things that you have faith that you can accomplish. a true winner knows they have a chance of winning and acts on that feeling to win. expecting to always win is better than expecting to always loose because when your hopes are down you are not as motivated to do your best.

Quality 2: Positive Self-Motivation
"True winners dig deep and find motivation inside themselves to get through that tough task or to learn a new skill."
Self motivation is the act of you telling yourself you can achieve any goal you have. being positive is being like happy and stuff if you put that together you get positive self motivation. When you find your own motivation within your self you become more willing to do things and treat work like fun instead of work. when you treat work like work you are not motivated to do it because it becomes some thing that you would rather not do.
Quality 3: Positive Self-Image

True winners are confident and view themselves as competent, valuable human beings.
This must mean that you should believe in yourself to achieve greatness and then you will find pride in achieving your goals.

Quality 4: Positive Self-Direction
You gotta have direction if you are going to go anywhere. True winners know where they are going. Their sense of direction comes from the self and not from outside influences like parents or friends.
i guess you can say this quote/statement is saying you should know what your goal is. so i have decided that my goal is to get better at guitar. and play johnny b. goode. if not i would at least like to play a song with a difficult/mesmerizing guitar solo. i have seen many interviews people do with guitarist like slash. and most of them say the same thing. they have never been in a music class. or have been in music theory. and so with music theory or without the riffs/solos they play are simple scales. they basically choose a scale and mess around with it. like dave grohl. drummer of nirvana and one of  the founders of Foo Fighters. he said he had never took a music class or has ever had drums. he said he would simply imagine playing drums.
Quality 5: Positive Self-Control
Total winners can sacrifice immediate pleasure for a gain in the future. Delayed gratification is of immense value in reaching your goals.
self control in my point of view is being able to control yourself. then there are others with no self control. i believe i cannot control myself. because i get mad easily and yeah.
Quality 6: Positive Self-Discipline
You have to discipline yourself or else someone else will discipline you into doing what they want you to do. Total winners have the power to discipline and take control of their lives.
Quality 7: Positive Self-Esteem
Your mood and outlook on life affect the way you see the world and how you interact in it. Total winners are positive, powerful people who make people feel good and provide a good vibe to those around him/her.

Quality 8: Positive Self-Dimension

Total winners like in the present. They know that now is all there is. They don’t get caught up in the past or worry about the future. They simply handle the business that they can handle which is the stuff going on today, now.
Quality 9: Positive Self-Awareness
Total winners are aware of their power. They understand that they can be anything with enough effort and determination.
"when life gives you lemons, make lemonade."
Quality 10: Positive Action
Total winners take positive action in their business and with their friends and family. They are uplifting and motivating individuals who inspire the best from themselves and others.
what is positive action. from my  guess positive means good action means well action so a positive action is something good you do. other than that i don't know what it is. but i know who does. mr.haymore knows what this means. as a great teacher and philosopher.
